One of the most Iranian motifs in glass domes for Architaj team, is Ferdows garden project which is executed in private garden building of Mr. Najafi and in arrival domain of cinema museum.
The designation of this work was done in 1394 by Mrs. Eng. Tootzari and design confirmation to execution process took a long time, due to building process of the project, and it was installed and delivered in 1395. Some of Iranian motifs were used in stained glasses of this project, so that this glass dome being emerged as a handcraft carpet made by glass and the shining of its scratched glass in front of light makes an extraordinary image on the floor of the house.
Its structure was made traditionally with a 6 meters gate, and although it has a great elegance and firmness. The length of any sector of dome was divided in two parts, so that stained glasses are produced and installed in proper dimensions.
The sealing of this structure has been done by curved and laminated glasses. Details of such a sealing by glass, has some advantages and disadvantages in comparison to other sealing manufacturing manner in the world. One advantage of using glass in sealing could be its stability against the sun and no color change during several years, although curved and laminated glasses may get cracked and broken by intensive strikes, so that this problems makes the maintenance of this structure necessary. Of course, we must mention this point that Architaj team has lifetime warranty service for maintenance of theses domes, and have maintained relations with its customers for many years.
