Farmaniyeh Sanbol Building Front Door
The project was implemented for the front door of a residential house in Farmaniyeh Street by the expert group of Architaj in 2011.Previously, the reverse dome project was implemented for the entrance of the building.
The building of the project is a residential house with a rustic design, and the designer was inspired by the design of the stein glass in order to find connections between this style and Marrocean traceries.
The glasses utilized for the stein glass are from saline glass, sandblast (opaque glass), and textured glass.
As for the designer’s suggestion, colored glass is not used in this project, for they navigate more lighting to the inner side and make the lobby brighter.
The Lead came metal (the sections made of tin and lead) are considered to be the holders of the glasses together. Fabrically and mechanically they are produced in grey, which can be altered according to the color of the model.
The lead came has become golden in this project to bring more harmony to the decoration of the lobby.
Since, the building front doors are regarded as important for security matters, in designing the glasses, security and resistance were counted as the two main elements alongside the beauty and visual attractiveness, and designer in order to increase the strength of these types of glasses, laminated the stein glass sashes with two layers of tempered glass and then intended to install the three-layered glass in the considered placement of the door.
