Ferdous Garden Stained Glass Dome Project

One of the most Iranian motifs used in the glass domes of the Archi Taj collection is the Stein Bagh Firdos dome project, which was carried out in a private villa owned by Mr. Najafi in the entrance area of ​​the Cinema Museum.

The design of this work was done by Ms. Tot Zari in 1994, and the process of approving the plan until its implementation took a little time due to the construction process of the project, and the project was installed and delivered in 1995. Iranian motifs were used in the production of stained glass of this collection so that this glass dome looks like a hand-woven carpet with glass and the shine of its polished glass creates an amazing image on the floor of the house.

The structure of this work was done in a traditional way (bent and rolled) with a span of nearly 6 meters, and yet it has high elegance and strength. The length of each sector of the dome was divided into two parts so that the stained glass windows can be produced and installed in appropriate dimensions.

This structure is sealed by bent and laminated glass. Detail This type of glass sealing has advantages and disadvantages compared to other sealing methods in the world. One of the advantages of using glass in the dome seal is its strength against the sun and no color change over the years, however, bent and laminated glass may crack and break against very strong impacts, which is a problem in The length of time shows the need for maintenance in these structures.
