Freeform structure of Fiore Amol building

For the first time in Iran, a freeform structure was designed and implemented by Archi Taj Group in the Fiore project located in Amol city. Freeform structures refer to a set of composite structures that, by using space triangulation, have the ability to cover any type of cross-section in a wavy manner and without the need for columns.

These structures have been implemented in Iran mainly by foreign contractors in several commercial complexes. Archi Taj Group is proud to have fully localized this unique technology and design. This project was completed under the direct supervision of Engineer Jameh Bozorg using an experienced technical and engineering staff.

This structure was designed with topographic design and implementation of CNC profiles. This design is done in such a way that it provides a completely stable structure with a minimum height and completely covers the desired surface using triangular forms.

Glass used:

The glass used in this structure is produced with HS technology and in accordance with BS regulations, which are completely safe and in accordance with current European standards. These structures have high resistance to any vibration and applied forces. So that each square meter of these glasses is able to withstand a force of up to 600 kg.

Sealing and strengthening:

The sealing of this structure is done using WS-based adhesive and rubber, which are specially imported from outside Iran. This method allows the structure to be resistant to heavy rainfall, wind, humidity and direct sunlight. This structure is surrounded by a large flushing of CNC-cut metal sheet to direct all surface water to the roof floor.

The role of free-form structure in interior design:

In the roof space, this modern structure with its beautiful and eye-catching form displays a geometric and minimalist appearance that perfectly matches the interior design style of the building.

Engineer Mokhbari, in the management of the Aksin Construction Complex, launched this project as a starting point for the construction of free-form skylights in Iran. Iranian forces completed this project with their expertise and skills, making buildings with such design and architecture iconic.
