Glass Dome of Hyderabad, Isfahan

Archi Taj team started the implementation of the Stained Glass Dome project in the Hyderabad area of Isfahan in the spring of 1403. This villa area is located near the city of Isfahan and along the Zayandeh Rud River. The client of this project, who designed this villa as a museum, used the best materials such as exquisite stonework, unique plasterwork and artistic woodwork.

Design and implementation of glass skylight

After extensive research, the client concluded that Archi Taj is the only reliable reference for implementing stained glass skylights in Iran. After six months of research and investigation, he decided to conclude his contract with this complex with complete confidence.

The structure of this project was designed by engineer JamehBozorg and has several different levels and a three-dimensional structure. The stained glass windows are placed on three different levels to give this dome a voluminous and unique appearance. The structure of this skylight is also capable of mechanical opening; So when one is inside the villa, one can open the structure and enjoy the full view of the sky with the push of a button.

Glass Art Techniques

The Archi Taj team has used various techniques in this project. This project includes Tiffany art, glass fusing and kiln painting. Baked paintings of images of angels and classical flowers have given a special beauty to this dome. Each piece of glass in this project is uniquely designed and no design is repeated.
