Glass dome of Sina Shopping Center, Hamadan

Sina Shopping Center Hamedan, one of the largest shopping centers in this historical city, is being built by the Hamedan Municipality’s Civil Engineering Organization. The complex is located in the Bu-Ali Sina Tomb Square. The designers of Sina Shopping Center decided to implement a stained glass dome in the center of its void. Archi Taj’s engineering team has professionally designed and implemented this beautiful dome using Iranian Islamic designs and colored glass.

Review of the Glass Dome Structure of Sina Shopping Center Hamedan

This glass dome is located in the center of the void of the complex and is supported by 4 main columns. Archi Taj, using crystal and cut glass, beautifully spreads sunlight in the interior space. The designers of this structure have used Iranian Islamic geometric forms to give this space an artistic and spiritual effect.

A pyramid-shaped structure is also located above the dome, which is covered with simple glass. This pyramid has added to the beauty and functionality of this skylight and improves the exterior of the complex. Also, this structure is clearly visible from the roof garden space.
