Glass skylight with angels in the sky

Known as “Angels in the Sky,” the project is a special glass skylight with a unique artistic design and concept. In the center of this skylight, two images of angels with a sun-like pose are visible, giving a special effect to the space. The designers completed the roof garden space of this building, which includes sections such as a jacuzzi and a greenhouse, with a glass skylight.

Project Challenges

1. Difficult installation location:
   This skylight is located in a space that is difficult to access and the installation of equipment is complicated.
2. Sealing and strength:
   Special sealing techniques were used to prevent water penetration and maintain strength.
3. Dark and transparent design:
   Combining the angel design with precise details required the appropriate selection of glasses and special coloring.

Project implementation stages

1. Division and construction of parts:
   The entire project was divided into three parts. Each part was designed, manufactured and installed on site separately.
2. Infrastructure and Safety:
   A layer of laminated glass was installed under the skylight for safety.
   Stained glass was placed on this layer to beautifully showcase the design details.
3. Final Sealing:
   Finally, a layer of reinforced glass was used to cover the entire work to prevent water and other environmental factors from penetrating.

Artistic and Execution Details

• Angel Face Design:
  The angel face section required very high precision in design and painting due to its delicate details. The Taj team was able to beautifully execute this design using special colors and advanced techniques.
• Natural Lighting:
  This skylight was designed to transmit natural light into the space in a filtered form with pleasant colors, which has given a wonderful effect to the floors of the building.

The Final Result

As a prominent example of the use of stained glass, the “Angels in the Sky” project was able to create a sense of luxury and connection with nature in this residential complex, in addition to adding visual beauty.
