- Project Type:: Glass void
The construction of a 4×5 meter square glass Void in a residential villa in Tabriz city is one of the most challenging projects for the Archi Taj team. Before working with us, the initial frame was built by the client’s contractor. Due to its improper design (a combination of incomplete arches and smooth stepped sections), the frame faced several problems.
In the first step, our team modified the existing frame and prepared it for the installation of stained glass. Then, based on one of the journal designs selected by the architect and client, a detailed design of the project was carried out. After approving the design and selecting the color and texture of the glass, the construction process began.
In this project, instead of a variety of colors, the focus was on using different glass textures. The combination of geometric shapes and Islamic motifs together created a neoclassical and eye-catching effect that made the interior of the villa unique.
The installation of the glass was challenging due to the specific structure and the limitations of the previously installed glass roof covering. The Architaj team carefully placed all the pieces on the frame and, in addition, expertly sealed the outer frame and glass void.
The result was the creation of an artistic and unique glass void that shines like a jewel in the heart of the villa and transforms the interior of the building into a striking and lasting architectural work.
