Project Introduction:

The project takes its name from one of the old and cultural streets of this beautiful city, which clearly shows its connection to the rich roots of Iranian architecture.

The Archi Taj team installed this dome above the void space of the staircase of a residential duplex apartment, turning it into a focal point of the house, which plays an important role in the beauty and brightness of the interior space.

Design and Concept:

The diameter of this dome is about 3.5 meters. Inspired by the repeating rhythms of the project’s architecture, the designers have created a form that fits in with the overall style of the building in the space and have coordinated the patterns used in the glass with the structure.

The design team used an eye-catching combination of turquoise, brick, and amber in the selection of colors, which, in addition to creating a sense of authenticity, conveys warmth and tranquility to the interior space. These colors, which have their roots in the art of traditional Iranian tiling, have been recreated in a modern and minimal format.

Execution and techniques:

The Archi Taj expert team has carried out all stages of the construction of this stained glass dome with high precision and manually; from the initial design and cutting of the glass to the final soldering and installation. Imported and high-quality glass was used in this project to ensure the utmost transparency, color quality, and durability in the final work.
