Implementation of a Stained Glass Dome by Archi Taj Team in Sadra, Shiraz

Archi Taj Group started the Stained Glass Dome project in the Sadra area of Shiraz in the spring of 1403. Sadra is known as one of the villa areas of Shiraz with a pleasant climate, where many residents of this city have built villas. This area, with its combination of modern and luxurious architecture, is a very attractive and suitable environment for implementing special projects such as stained glass domes.

Project Details

The Stained Glass Dome project for a private villa of an employer from Qatar is being implemented by the Archi Taj Team. This villa was designed with beautiful architecture and luxurious materials. The glass dome is one of the most important decorative elements of this project.

The glass dome is designed in such a way that the eight-meter void of this building is divided into 16 sections, and each section is divided into three horizontal sections. This structure makes it easier to install stained glass windows and also makes the dome more beautiful.

Unique Features of the Glass Dome

This project was designed and implemented using stained glass windows and a durable structure. In addition to beauty, the design of the shelter next to the dome gives a magnificent look to the interior of the villa. The side windows of the dome are also made of stained glass windows to beautifully bring natural light inside.

After being built in the factory, the Archi Taj team transports this structure to the project site and installs it on the building void using a crane. All structures used in Archi Taj projects use electrostatic paints (baked paints) that last up to a hundred years and are resistant to atmospheric factors.

Other parts of the project

In addition to the dome, the client also ordered vertical skylights on the facade and on both sides of the building from Archi Taj. These windows also use double-glazed and stained glass to optimize their beauty and performance. There is also another pavilion or royal dome on the facade of the building that, when illuminated at night, gives a special effect to the entire building.
