The Hashtgerd Stained Glass Dome project was entrusted to Archi Taj Specialized Group by Engineer Kian in the winter of 2018. This project is located in the residential villa of a surgeon in the pleasant climate of New Hashtgerd. Given the unique geographical location and the surrounding natural landscapes, the use of stained glass in architectural design seemed essential to establish an effective connection with nature.

The design and implementation of the steel skeleton of the Hashtgerd Stained Glass Dome was carried out after performing precise calculations and approval by the Engineering System Organization. The steel profiles of the structure were formed using cold rolling and electrostatic paint was used to paint them, which provides high resistance to decay and weather changes.

This 3.80 meter diameter stained glass dome is installed on the roof of the villa structure and shines light from the two floors of the villa into the interior space. The use of bright colors in the interior design of the villa has encouraged the designer to choose bright colors in this dome. The classic designs of the dome have given a special beauty to the space by increasing the density of the patterns at the top and their cascading distribution downwards.

At the request of the client, frosted glass was used in the middle part of the dome to maintain the interior privacy. At the end of the dome, special textures are visible that have given an attractive appearance to the structure. After installing the stained glass slats, a transparent polycarbonate layer was placed on them to make it easier to clean the dome.

To seal the structure, Archi Taj Group has used aluminum sections (fish fillets) and sealing rubbers, all of which have a lifetime warranty.
