Stained glass partition in the office

One of the most notable and special projects of Archi Taj Architecture Group is the design and implementation of a decorative stained glass partition in the office space of one of the commercial units in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar. In this project, the main goal was to make optimal use of limited space and create functional and yet beautiful boundaries in a work environment.

The necessity of designing in limited space

In valuable and densely populated urban areas such as Tehran Bazaar, optimal use of small areas becomes doubly important. The client in this project needed to separate the space for an office without losing natural light or the sense of openness. Using stained glass in the form of a partition wall was a creative and different solution that met both functional and aesthetic needs.

Technical and Executive Challenges

One of the main challenges of this project was the large dimensions of the glass and the transportation restrictions in the dense fabric of Tehran Bazaar. Stained glass windows are heavy and sensitive. The process of moving and installing them required precision, special equipment, and a professional team, which fortunately was completed successfully with the expertise of Archi Taj Group.

Final Result

The implemented partition not only stands out as an artistic decorative element in the workspace, but also instills energy and a positive feeling into the environment by letting light pass through the various colors of the glass. Combining the traditional art of glassmaking with modern applications has given this office a unique identity.
