The stained glass skylight project for the Seoul residential villa was designed and implemented by Archi Taj Group in 2017. This project was carried out at the request of a neurosurgeon who sought to create a relaxing space. Engineer Shaygan, who was responsible for the construction of the villa, collaborated with Archi Taj Group to create beautiful and efficient lighting.

The stained glass skylight, measuring 3.20 meters by 2 meters, was placed in the living room ceiling of this villa and artistically filtered natural light into the interior space. The design of this skylight was inspired by the floor tiles of the hall, which maintained continuity and harmony with other interior decoration elements.

The Iranian design used in this skylight, using blue, turquoise and red colors, gave a special beauty and charm to the space. Also, frosted glass was used in parts of the design so that the false ceiling behind the skylight was not visible and the design remained unified.

A sloped false ceiling made of laminated security was installed on the upper part of the skylight, which is responsible for directing rainwater. Windows are installed on both sides of this structure to access the skylight.

The structure was also sealed with aluminum sections (fish fillets) and pressurized tires to prevent water infiltration. Also, to increase safety, a living structure was created under the skylight to provide strength and security in addition to beauty.
