Dubai Tiffany Glass Project

Dubai Tiffany glass is one the projects, done with Tiffany glass technic by the expert group of Arcitaj.

The project is to construct sashes for the Tiffany glass of a double door and two decorative windows. The project was designed and implemented in 2011.

The tiffany technic is capable of holding too many small glasses, and it is regarded as a suitable plan for detailed design with lots of traceries.

Since the front door has a great impact on the audience in the first step, it is regarded as important.

The beauty of the front doors is important in two aspects, first, they are ravishing elements for the inner decoration, and besides, they are the first picture of the external decoration and architecture in the construction to be observed for the audience.

The utilized sashes in the door are on the dimensions of 1.80 * 70 centimeters and the overall shape is a resemblance of a peacock.

Here, the combinations of red, green, yellow, blue, and turquoise are utilized for the glasses.

The glasses utilized in the project are carved glasses, and the red flowers, which are observable, are made of furnace colors. Furnace colors are the glasses that are painted first, then they are put in a furnace to get the shapes.

Different types of glasses were used to make decorative windows like; carved glasses, saline glasses, opaque glasses, and glass balls.

The artist has created a piece in realism style and has benefited from natural frames to create the glasses.

For instance, he has used glass balls to create grape forms and in order to create bright shadows, he has utilized colored glasses and benefited from furnace color.

Also, colored glasses in green combinations are used for the creation of the leaves.
