Design and execution of Hashtgerd stained-glass dome:
The project of the stained-glass dome of Hashtgerd was given to the professional group of R. Chi Taj by Mr. Kian (engineer and operator of the project).
The residential villa was located in a peaceful area with good weather conditions in the new Hashtgerd district and belonged to a surgeon practitioner.
With regard to the geographical location of the project and its beautiful landscapes, the use of glass in the architecture seems essential for effective communication with nature.
By doing the engineering calculations, the skeleton of the construct was designed and approved by the Engineering organization and the project entered the operational phase.
The pieces used in the skeleton of the stained-glass dome are from steel profiles that have been produced by cold beam for operating the project.
We used the electrostatic color for steel pieces which creates the essential resistance toward putrescence and climate changes.
The vid which was considered for the operation of the stained-glass dome had a 3.80 meters diameter and was used in the ceiling of the original construct and had dominance to two floors of the villa which is very important for light entrance to the inner space.
The presence of the light colors in the inner decoration of the villa and its architecture led the designer to utilize them in the stained-glass dome and you can see the final product in the pictures.
The stained-glass dome was made of light colors.
The style of design with adaption to the general architecture of the building is considered classic.
In a form that the density of figures reaches the peak in the highest point of the dome and the elements have been drawn from top parts to lower ones like a waterfall.
In the middle part due to the respectful employer’s request, matt glasses were used which make the observer’s view limited to the inner parts of the construct.
elements like a texture grab your attention in the final part of the dome.
After installing the stained-glass parts, a clear layer out of polycarbonate was set on the parts for the facilitation of the cleaning of the dome and was installed by special connections on the skeleton.
After this level, the insulation process is done by Aluminum pieces well-equipped with water-stop rubbers which has the lifelong guarantee in all the projects done by the professional R. Chi Taj group.
